Giayee Announce new 7-inch Android tablet
Some time ago, we the Chinese IDH, Giayee, has released their 7 inch Android tablet with rk2918 chip. After testing, they bring a new level of portability to their growing Android lineup. Along with 4GB flash memory, the tablets run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and feature a 1024×768 HD display, a A8(rk2918) 1.2GHz chipset and a 0.3- megapixel front camera for video chat. Also this tablet has the own amazing Custom UI design.
This 7-inch tablet looks like an enlarged iPhone, including the Micro USB, Micro HDMI, Double Loudspeaker, 3.5mm Audio Jack and a Micro SD card slots. Beside these, the android tablet has the same feature with 8-inch Android tablets: 512MB DDR3, 4GB NAND Flash, Capacitive multi-touch, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth V2.0, 1080P HD media play and support G-sensor and 3D games. Even though, this doesn’t have quite the same with their 8-inch tablets, we hope to see their Android offerings.
In consideration of the price, the chipset rk2918 and universal main features will ensure its low price. How about will you pay for it, just before the China National Day.
The slimmest Android Tablet: Toshiba AT200
News from the oversea say Toshiba bring the slimmest tablet AT200, the 10.1-inch Android tablet previewed at Berlin’s IFA exhibition. Measuring a mere 7.7mm in depth, Toshiba has beaten both Apple, whose iPad measures 8.8mm, and Samsung’s latest 7-inch tablet, the Galaxy 7.7 which is 7.87mm fat. Unlike ipad and most other tablets, Toshiba’s AT200 eschews the accepted gloss black styling and instead offers the increasingly popular brushed aluminum look. But the AT200 appears to be most serious tablet’s effort at the genre yet. Its LCD Touch Screen is 10.1-inch with 1280×800 pixel resolution and hosts Android Honeycomb. Like Giayee’s M801, the AT200 design with back and front cameras, while 5MP and 2MP respectively. What’s more, the AT200 goes OMAP 4430(1.2GHz) from Texas Instruments, 1GB RAM and 64GB memory. It is said that the AT200 manages 8 hours on single charge. And, just from the device, the AT200 have a mini HDMI output, a mini USB slot and a microSD card slot. Compare with AT200, Galaxy Tablet seem to be a little thick, and no the same as iPad, it is just a new sight of Android tablets. Toshiba has not announced the date; we will see the AT200 on the market before Google announce the new Android version.
7 inch capacitive Game tablet, Ployer MOMO7 Release
Recently, officials say that Plover has released an Android tablet main for games. It brings the high configuration among Chinese Android Tablets. First, it runs the Rock chip rk2918 chip (up to 1.2GHz), 512M DDR3 memory, Android 2.3 OS and 7 inch (1024×600) display. Compare with Giayee’s 7 inch MID, this tablet could provide touch screen with five touch point and dual camera (0.3MP front camera and 2MP back camera). In addition, this tablet has the Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and 3G network. For this A8 Android tablet, it has the high-performance accelerated graphics processor (GC800), and it makes it possible for enjoying 3D games. In the past, rockchip’s tablets could hardly run the 3D games fluently, but this A8 chip (Rk2918) makes it come true. Furthermore, this chip will promote the development of Chinese high-end tablets in the future.

Compare with Android phones, It seems like there is the same news about Android tablets that one has released an Android tablet with the newest feature. But, The most perfect function tablets refer to the iPad. However, An unknown Chinese IDH(Giayee) has draw up a project for the Android tablets with A8(1.2GHz) process and 3D graphics processor.
